Fem!Italy Alice Vargas in the style of Fellini's film, which we had to watch and write an essay about last year. I had this picture in my head for a couple of days and I just had to paint it, especially after seeing the absolutely GORGEOUS hetalia-inspired fashion designs of . This isn't nearly as nice, but I just had to do it anyway.

I dressed her up as Sylvia since I thought that both their personalities were pretty much dead-on (NOT necessarily physical resemblance) they're both very childlike and full of playfulness and innocent flirtatiousness, as well as being energetic to the point of annoyance and inn. Oh, and they both love cute kitties. And yes, I do know that Sylvia was the American/Swedish actress, NOT an Italian, and that it shouldn't be Veneziano since the film takes place in Rome, but I was more going for personality, not super-complete-accuracy. Romano isn't particularly cheery, and if this was for resemblance, then it would have to be Ukraine for bustiness.

Still, I'm really happy with how it turned out, especially the shawl and the dress... her left hand just wouldn't cooperate, so I just ended up with putting the shawl in her hand, but otherwise I'm very happy with it.
